When we first found out we were pregnant and made the announcement to our families, they were so excited. We gave both of our parents a Berenstein Bears book about grandparents. A few days later, Rick's sister, Laura, gave us a book that tells about the development of the baby each day. Today's entry includes something to effect: the baby from crown to rump is now 4 inches long and the legs are now growing longer than the arms. She can now move all joints and is practicing primitive breathing by inhaling amniotic fluid. PRETTY COOL STUFF! It's so cool to know what is going on each day. My belly is definitely getting BIGGER. I'm having a tough time wearing my normal pants, but I don't yet fit the maternity ones. I'm sure that will come soon enough.

I check your blog to remember how far along I am and how big my baby is. I swore I would never "forget" or not pay attention, but here I am. How nice we are due the same day. I am thinking you should get a girl. Not that Rick wouldn't want a boy, but it is so fun to have a girl first. You get to buy dresses and bows and do hair and do twirls. I think every mom deserves a little baby girl.
I been wondering how you are. Sounds like things are going well. :) So exciting! P.S have you tried the rubber band around the button on your pants trick yet? :) I felt silly for a little while, but works great!
So....is it a girl? I have read "her" and such a few times now. :) I agree with Staci. I would love a little girl next. Little boys are fun though. Balls of energy. :)
